Project Information

“A school as beautiful as those in the West” is one of the many compliments often given to the charming Marie Curie School, located on Ham Nghi Street, My Dinh II Ward, Tu Liem District, Hanoi. Designed by lead architect Le Duy Khoa, the campus spans a total area of 8,910 square meters and showcases a strong European architectural style. The school features a wide range of classrooms, specialized functional rooms, a sports field, and a multi-purpose auditorium, all thoughtfully designed to serve students’ academic, extracurricular, and recreational needs.

To create the most comfortable and supportive learning environment—especially to ensure students maintain good physical well-being for effective learning—the school has made significant investments in high-quality infrastructure and modern, convenient equipment. Among these, the safe and high-standard elevator system stands out as a key element meeting international school benchmarks. With substantial capital investment, every piece of equipment and facility used on campus is carefully evaluated and selected from premium materials and reputable, high-end brands. This is also why Mitsubishi Elevator Vietnam Co., Ltd. was chosen to supply and install four Mitsubishi Electric elevator units for the school. With elevators always ready for service, students on higher floors can move to their classrooms with greater ease, especially during days of extreme heat.

Naturally, no parent would feel at ease entrusting their children to a learning environment that does not guarantee safety. Therefore, safety features within the elevator system are considered essential to ensure smooth and secure daily operations. Notably, the FER (Fire Emergency Return) function automatically evacuates students to a designated safe floor in the event of a fire. In the case of a sudden power outage, the MELD (Mitsubishi Emergency Landing Device) activates, using a backup battery source to bring the elevator to the nearest floor and open the doors so students can exit safely. In addition, the ITP (Inter-communication System) provides an internal communication line, allowing passengers inside the elevator to contact external support whenever necessary.

Beyond safety, several advanced features are installed to enhance operational efficiency. The AECC (Car Arrival Chime – Car) emits an audible signal before the elevator arrives at the designated floor. The ABP (Automatic Bypass) function skips floor calls when the elevator is fully loaded, optimizing traffic flow. Meanwhile, the FCC-P (False Call Canceling – Car Button Type) allows passengers to cancel a mistaken car call by quickly pressing the corresponding button twice, reducing unnecessary stops and shortening waiting times.

A visit to Marie Curie School will undoubtedly leave parents feeling proud and confident in having placed their trust in the quality of education and teaching offered here. Beyond its impressive scale and well-appointed facilities, the campus also leaves a lasting impression through its thoughtfully designed recreational and activity areas that encourage diverse student engagement. Through careful selection and the use of safe, high-quality equipment and materials—such as genuine Mitsubishi Electric elevators, fully imported as complete units directly from the manufacturer—the school provides a solid foundation for families to place their confidence in its standards and feel reassured about their important decision to entrust their children’s education here for many years to come.
